ENERCA On-line platforms

  • The European Commission aims to increase healthcare quality and access by making eHealth more available. To reach this objective, tools and services using information and communication technologies (ICTs) that can improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and management of rare diseases are actively promoted.
  • e-ENERCA is committed to this European Commission goal and includes, as main objectives of this new phase of the network development, the provision of access to the same level of services dedicated to rare anaemias to both, health professionals and patients, independently of their country of practice or of origin.
  • In this context, three on-line platforms have been developed by the ENERCA Consortium in those areas where European cooperation is most needed: epidemiological surveillance, continuing medical education and management of complex clinical cases.
